I am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Speech and Language Therapist, bringing together over 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents and adults across the NHS, education and private sectors.
My unique dual professional background enables me to work with both the emotional and psychological aspects of difficulties, as well as communication, language and neurodevelopmental needs. I trained as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) and am registered with the UKCP and FPC. Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I am also a registered Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience in autism services, specialist educational settings, community health services and private practice.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, anger, neurodiversity (including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD), language and communication difficulties, learning needs and speech and language disorders. I have particular expertise in supporting the emotional impact of living with communication challenges, neurodivergence and disability, helping clients develop greater self-understanding, resilience and confidence.
I have worked in Autism Diagnostic Clinics, specialist provisions for children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder, primary and secondary special schools, mainstream schools and adult outpatient services. My integrative perspective allows me to support clients holistically, considering both their emotional wellbeing and communication needs.
